Valentine's Decorations

Wow two post in one day, don't expect that too often, LOL.  I was so excited to get some of my Valentines Day stuff finished that I just had to post pictures.

The ornaments here are from Prairie Schooler Winter Winds, Oakhaven SAL 2009, Lizzie*Kate, The Cats Whiskers, SanMan Originals and The Drawn Thread.

I am so proud of these ornaments.  I was not to sure how the hearts were going to turn out but I am very happy with them.  They are stretched around plastic canvas hearts that I bought at the craft store.

The first one is part of a freebie from Debbie Draper Designs, the next one is a freebie from The Stitcherhood and the last one is from the SanMan Originals Newsletter.

Last but not least is the pink tree with all the ornaments on it.

Can you tell that I am having a blast with my colored trees.  I will probably add a few more ornaments to the pink tree and if I remember I will post pictures of them.

Snowmen Display

I love decorating for the holidays and seasons.  This year I managed to pick up some fun, small colored trees from Wal-mart after X-mas for 1/2 price.  I got a blue one for my Snowmen, and pink one for Valentines, a purple one for Easter and a black one for Halloween.  I will try to post each one when I put them up.

Here is how the blue one was decorated.   This is just a small portion of my Snowmen collection.

Ornaments on the tree are SanMan Originals, Oak Haven Designs, Midnight stitcher and many more.

Wisteria Garden SAL

This was a SAL hosted by Kirsten Schmidt from It was a fun stitch along having people from several countries.  I stitch it on 28 count Queen Annes lace linen.  The original project is a long sampler with hardanger around the edges.  I decied to stitch just the center and I hope to find a shabby sheek frame with 3 opening in it.  If not I will cut a 3 opening mat to fit in a 10x20 frame.

I am a few days late posting this but its been a rough couple of days at my house.  It's hard to tell but theres a bit of floss in there from various snowmen and winter projects and I had a little help with a visit from the frog.  The bottle is one I have had many years and has been sitting in my kitchen window.  I like it because it looks like an old glass milk bottle.

Starting Something New

I guess its time I start a new item in my life and start a blog.  Not sure how often I will update it but maybe I can keep up with it.  Do not count on me posting personal item going on in my life, this is strictly a craft blog, not a diary, LOL.

Happy Crafting.
